Moon in the sign of Aries
The Moon in Aries generally symbolizes emotional spontaneity, often changes of mood, even aggressiveness by which Aries defend themselves, sometimes even when they are not attacked.
This Moon radiates with natural and sincere enthusiasm, but lacks patience and tact. They can become fiery or elated, fairly easy and quickly and then briskly forget the reason of their anger. They are always right, when they really are, and when they are not.
They despise authorities and “lectures”. They do not like anything slow or simple. They do not listen to advice and are hard when it comes to imposing the discipline of any kind on them. These people detest too many details and everything has to be short and clear for them. Someone would call them quarrelsome, for they can easily become dark with rage, “scream” for five minutes in the circle of their nearest and later, do not even remember the conflict, because they are not resentful.
The Moon in Aries deals with all the problems today and at this very second, does not wait and does not need anyone. There is no sugarcoating here, no tactics, not even thinking about the others, there is just “that thing in the soul” that flies in a huge fiery ball and needs to be said or done immediately. But, it is never done with the mean intention, because these people have no time to be neither good nor evil. They are simply honest. These people dominate over others or a partner, and usually become authoritative, for they are better leaders than followers; quick, affective, other people may be afraid of them, because of their quick and a bit “primitive” reactions.
People with this position of the Moon are unstoppable, ambitious, defiant, tough, hard-working and quick, quick, quick, quick...and rash, sometimes even overbearing (depending on the position of the Mars this will be either more transparent or secretive).
So, how could these people avoid the trouble and confrontation? Or, how could they not instill enthusiasm into you? That depends on your temperament. But, they are just the initiators and the sincere beings, who, most likely, do not put up with isolation or understatements, no matter what others think.
Moon in the sign of Taurus
Astrology becomes aimless if we do not find the simple everyday symbolism in it. I say simple because my job is not to fascinate someone with terminology and brainwash them with complicated techniques. The job of an astrologer is not to play the psychiatrist and analyze or listen – read every problem with no problem, comfort, give therapies, etc. My job is not to cure, but to READ the symbol and explain WHY. Astrology also does not have the purpose if there is no PROGNOSIS. It is clear, exact, as much as possible.
Nevertheless, the Moon is still in Aries and counts the hours until entering the sign of Taurus. Aries attacks, so to say, Scorpio defends. Taurus enjoys. And Taurus always represents the fertile soil, hills, meadows, etc. Often, the Moon in the sign of Taurus is found with people that originate from peasant family (or, at least, their granddads or grandmas). The Moon also represents lakes, so in Taurus it can represent a lake beside the house in the hills near the meadow. Dispositor of the Moon is Venus in the cold, mountain sign of Capricorn, the Saturn is in Scorpio and the final dispositor, the Mars, is in Aquarius.
Now, imagine the small house at Zlatibor, beside the ice-cold lake, with now already “dead meadows”, near Crni Rzav (the river), and yourself in the house near the oil radiator overlooking the snowy glades from the terrace window, somewhere from the kitchen. J
Then, imagine Drina (the river) running from Šćepan Polje (again in Aries) in Montenegro, so cold and wild, through Bosnia, over three hydroelectric plants (hydro Moon, electric plant Aquarius), until it flows into Sava, near Sremska Rača.
The Moon in Taurus also stands for a house on “The Green Island” (Ireland), even the house on Cyprus, the good goulash in Hungary, the land in Paraguay, and the “land of peaches” Georgia.
Let’s go back to our subject. The Moon in Taurus could not imagine his day in a hurry. Taurus is slow and lazy. But, his hug is the warmest in the world, and he likes to watch you eat, and kiss his nearest in the cheek right on the doorway of the house. House again? Taurus is also every flowerpot (in a flat or house) on the terrace full of flowers, every blade of grace in front of the house, every garden that is watered in the spring, every bank near the house, farm in the middle of Vojvodina, the pancake with eurokrem, plazma and wallnuts. And the hug of a child in the middle of a dining room.
Taurus represents the first kiss in the spring, the first coffee with a lot of sugar in the early morning, good and expensive restaurant at Banovo, Petlovo or any other hill. Taurus stands for the piece of cake on the grass in the park, too, because Taurus loves nature and cannot do with it.
The Moon in Taurus seeks emotional, but also financial security. I say security, not money! But without them, there is no smile, for there is no piece or casualness in everyday’s hedonism. The Moon in Taurus strives for town, but a quiet street, full of trees, near a park, bank, and restaurant. The Moon in Taurus glows with emotional stability, and doesn’t like to be rushed. He easily gets the affection of other people, and attaches to them slowly but firmly. He hardly endures the loss of the loved ones. At times, he is a great cook, sometimes the best at trying the meal, but always a HEDONIST.
Moon in the sign of Gemini
As opposed to the previous position of the Moon where I wrote about the glades, hills, snowy villages, warm hugs; The Moon in Gemini, for example, doesn’t like villages, hills, and glades.
Moreover, he can enjoy them, but for five days only. The Moon in Gemini loves the city. People born with this position of the Moon like everything that is a crossroad, speed, traffic, school, crowd, movement, communication. And everything that shares the symbolic with the city, phoning, commercials, televisions, shopping malls, travelers, stations, wind and cards is just a part of the picture of the Moon in Gemini.
The Moon in Gemini is also a woman with a return ticket in her hand, and a woman at the wheel holding the wheel with one hand, and the phone with the other. And a woman who learns, writes, and moves until the end; a woman who puts her hand on someone’s shoulder. As long as we are talking about the hand, a hand is Gemini, even both hands writing this text. And a tongue that, along the way, says walking by “pick up the phone”.
The Moon in Gemini represents the crowd of people in front of the newsstand, tabloids, but also the Travel Magazine. The Moon in Gemini is a book, too. Not exactly “War and Peace”, but the popular one that one could read travelling from Belgrade to Novi Sad, if their phone doesn’t ring in the meantime, for example in the street of some Brothers...or if they do not talk to the driver. And while he is talking to you, in the car, this restless Moon draws or writes on that same book because the paper is...who knows where.
The Moon in Gemini is usually a flat, or two flats. Even more, the Moon in Gemini splits the flat, on two levels, or two entrances. The Moon in Gemini is also a neighbor, who makes the noise these days, or is simply disturbed by everything. This Moon is also the window of the house overlooking the crossroads or the main street, no matter where. Even the place in front of the window sometimes, and the first bus stop or taxi stand, a school and a car. It can be your car or the entire car park of someone else’s cars. And some “action” is done on it on regular basis. And it can be a store on the corner next to a house. It can stand for the stairs next to the main door, two entrances into the house or two locks. Long halls. The pile of books in the house, newspapers, even a DOLL, and a bicycle... This could be a phone and two pencils beside the phone. Moms letter or a bill (let’s forget about the bill, let Virgo calculate, we should get back to mother).
And the mother is a perfect speaker. Sometimes she is from the respected merchant’s house, sometimes from the family of literate people. Mom is a merchant, office clerk or scientist, but always surrounded with papers. And she is forever of a young spirit. This same mother (or we as mothers) sits into a car, and there is always a problem with a car. Yes, that same mother, almost regularly chooses between two cities, and seeks her place to live; sometimes she chooses two homes that she loves equally, or the life on two parallel locations because she is a traveler. And how can this Moon not love the travels? Just say where and he is packed; today to the north part of Italy, tomorrow to Denmark or Iceland? And then he is off for a coffee to Kragujevac, the city of students and pupils? It does not matter where he is, as long as he is not in one place.
When it comes to emotions, don’t start that topic with the Moon in Gemini. Try to avoid the surge of thinking, talking, and the ample of data, then words, words. There is so much thinking, so, when something really happens, we are all already tired.
Gemini is a pupil, who, just today, skipped the class (Mercury in Aquarius). He is a grown-up person who makes up two “excuses” and escapes work, or a romantic who with only “two words” wakes your interests for him forever. This Moon is also a child (no matter how old he actually is) that tells you two jokes and makes your day. And don’t be mad at him for being frivolous; do not take everything too serious. He is just joking with you.
Moon in the sign of Cancer
The Moon stands for the need of a soul to bind, wherever it is, the position of the Moon will only indicate the way the soul feels and expresses the emotion, the need of a man to bind and unite with other beings. A million words would not be enough now to describe only a moment and a feeling trapped into the emotion of the Moon in Cancer. The Moon in Cancer is the most subjective Moon and you should never ask him what he felt, why he reacted in such a strong way, why did he suffer, because you will not understand. That’s the feeling that belongs only to him. Even the afternoon movie could wake the rush of emotions in him, which this soul lake could hardly control.
The Moon in Cancer is a thought about past, that over and over again fills every second of his life. One step forward, three steps back. No, this Moon does not like changes, so try to move him. Even if he has to, he will bring every little piece of his old home into a new one and build his place under the Sun all over again.

This is a picture of a house near WATER, and a warm look full of tears in mom’s lap. The Moon in Cancer is also a mother that sneaks into the room at night to cover her child and it is also the eternal memory of the mother. Because he is like a mother to everyone close to him. Are you hungry, are you warm, are you in pain? But that only happens if he knows you and if you are close to him. If you are a stranger or he doesn’t like you, then forget about it.
This Moon likes best his family stories from the past. This is the reflection of women who dominate the family. The history of strong women who build their home, aspirations of a mother, the suffering of people, nation...and again, family together and all emotions turned towards it. And don’t you bring him foreigners or, God forbid, repairers into a house! But, you can suggest that he makes or tries a hot domestic bread or ask him if he likes a pie (for instance, with cheese)?
The Moon in Cancer is always a romantic and an artist. He is forever sad and most often in the world of his emotions. And his soul is so vulnerable that even, to others, an unimportant event can crush on this soul as a house on one’s head, so this Moon draws back into his shell, keeps silent and suffers. And the only thing he needs is the safety of his home and the endless family of the nearest, because he has no interest in other people’s houses, he likes his own. And will always go back to it.
You could reproach this Moon for behaving like the child even in his old days, or for not being able to make at least one huge decision in a short time, for not knowing how to say what he feels because he feels too much and to strong, so when he tries...Sometimes it’s even late. Sometimes it’s in the right moment. Sometimes you will have the feeling, looking from the side, that he only takes care about himself and goes away when he needs you, but...he is there, even when he is not.
For he remembers everything and everyone, he gets mad, happy, remembers and then again, forever memorizes like an elephant.
Moon in the sign of Virgo
Does anyone have a question, or a sub-question, and then another little question on the list? Something is unclear again? Take it easy, sit down and put it all on paper, item by item, including the list of necessary things that you must buy tomorrow, and the list of obligations, so as not to forget something. It wouldn’t be so bad to make even a calendar of plans until the end of June, if you have time, because if you don’t do it, who else would?
The Moon in Virgo builds the house slowly, rock by rock, sweating and working, and does not have or does not let anyone help him. No, the Moon in Virgo is not a small house; it is a house that is made from little, but never small. This is also a woman on her own, no matter if she has ten husbands. Alone. This is a woman for one man, a sister for a lifetime, a colleague worth ten colleagues.
Also, this is a woman that lets you make a mistake only once! Even if she stays there forever, she is done with you. This is a hard-working mother, a mother that is always present, even when she is sick. A mother-work! A woman who serves, gathers and creates. A woman who does everything on time. This is also your mother who takes needles in her hands and knits and embroiders near the fire, in order to occupy herself.
This Moon is also a representative of all of you who do not sit to rest even in the end of a working week, and you’ve been working in three shifts. This is HER who does not understand THOSE who do not want to work, because she feels sick when she is bored. This is all of you who calculate, and are never wrong.
This is also a caring friend who will be there when he is needed. This is a person who will always be wondering whether you are mad at him/her. Also, this is a person who will think that it is impossible to understand him/her fully because you, as opposed to him/her, do not look at and do not suffer from everything.
This is the one who takes the magnifying glass from the shelf, cleans it thoroughly, and watches the world through it. Looks for a mistake even where there is no one. They take offence at every word you say, because they are very careful about what they say, and they do not understand other people’s recklessness.
And he/she sits forever on the shore and counts the small rocks and breathes the smell of lake, river or sea, because Virgo is also a shore and the shore is health. This is also Croatia or Slovenia, Switzerland or Greece, even in the passing, at least in childhood.
And what about the man with the Moon in Virgo? Oh, yes. This is a man who wants a housemaid, serving lady; a man in a perfect suit or white uniform. Systematic, pedant, diligent man who gets carried away with calculating and runs to work to escape tough situations. This is also a man who likes to nag but will be there when someone actually needs help, medical or personal.
Of course, dear friends with the Moon in Virgo, you will find here million mistakes, you would say many of this in a different way, but..., to be concise, that’s you. And with no additional questions, please. This is all for now.
Moon in the sign of Scorpio
People who are not actually familiar with astrology could tell you anything about the people born with the Moon in Scorpio, or about the day in which the Moon in Scorpio is active.
People born with it are always around you when everybody else runs away, they are here in dramatic situations, when no one else has the courage, and they are here to build what others destroyed, to persist no matter what. Moon in the sign of Capricorn
What do you actually know about the Moon in Capricorn? Cold, selfish, depressive? HIGHLY UNLIKELY! This “planet” with no dignity, in exile, will make an effort about you way more than others. The Moon in Capricorn wants to be respected, and treats others with respect if they deserve it. It is more important to him to be respected, than “just loved”. He is a slave of duty and tradition; loyal, responsible, emotionally distant at first, until he binds, and then he is as firm as a rock.
This is an old soul. He is serious, even as a child. He is wise, fair and responsible. This lunar position is found with people with high social position, for they are responsible, ambitious, hard-working, etc. The higher the degree of the Moon is, the stronger the position of people born with the Moon in Capricorn (e.g. Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon Bonaparte). As opposed to them, the Moon until the 15* of Capricorn will give the tendency for position, ambition, etc. Of course, the aspects with the Moon can significantly change the situation.
The Moon in the sign of Aquarius
If you know someone with this position of the Moon, you probably wonder – what kind of “bad” intention does he/she have when he/she is so open towards you on your first meeting? There must be something behind that ease and spontaneity? He probably pretends to know you forever, to accept you easily, and it is not possible that he is so cordial and good-hearted with no reason behind it? And you believe that he is lying to you as he speaks, that he says that he is deeply touched by the unhappiness of every individual in the world? And then you think that he is not “all alone”, because he started the story about aliens, and then he fantasizes about the dangerous ride in the convertible through Arizona, and then he talks about his desire to move to Alaska and fish every morning??!! And, supposedly, he is always better somewhere far away??! And then he thinks he can help you or solve your problem, not asking for anything in return? And he sees you for the first time in life??? He has no prejudice, supposedly, about your being rich or poor; he is also not interested in whether you are literate or illiterate?
And then he explodes like a “firecracker” when you say “gypsy, Muslim, nigger, ustaša, četnik”?! They are all the same to him, supposedly. And when you ask him “sorry, what do you do for a living, how will you live today, tomorrow”, he changes immediately and says “There is no today and tomorrow. There is only right now.” He can’t sit in one place not even for a second, and wants to go to a gas station for a coffee at 2 A.M. in the town suburb? Who else does that? And he is so nervous whenever you try to put him down to earth and return him to reality, because reality is non-existent to him. Nonsense! He, supposedly, loves everyone and understands everything; it’s only that others do not understand him???!!!
And when he starts to talk about intuition, about your future, visions that he has, about the loft flat on the 15th floor (and he doesn’t have a dinar in his pocket, but he knows that he will have it, sooner or later). God forbid! A second doesn’t even pass that he doesn’t mention his/her “friends” that he/she loves as if they were a family, and he/she is not jealous of anyone, and he/she is, imagine this, happy because he/she is well?! And then he hates pretending, liars, the unintelligent, materialists, and thinks you are a wonderful person (and he knows you for 3 seconds)???
And he sleeps two hours a day (of course we do not believe him). He would have died after two days. What a lunatic (or weirdo)?
Nothing is right there. There is something serious behind all this. Profit, favor...who knows what!!!
You are quite wrong here, this kind of people actually exist. They are the people of open heart and pure soul, people who do not ask for anything, they just give. Those are the people who are not interested in the past, intrigues, gossips, malice, reality. They experience life as a game with no losers, because all people are winners. There are those who wouldn’t even leave a dog on a street, let alone a helpless man. Sometimes, everything they need is an honest, free man, who will not argue with them about intentions, attitudes, etc. He knows what’s in your head, but he won’t tell you, because he understands the differences so well.
The Moon in the sign of Pisces
What are the characteristics of the Moon in Pisces? “Sleeping beauty”? The one that waits for a prince to wake her up from the dream? Or the one what waits for a princess to “return him to the magic reality”? “A Girl that disappears” or “a man under the mask”? The one that shows up when the world needs a hope, the one that brings back the faith and gives the unconditional love?
Let us start one by one. The Moon in Pisces feels us even if do not say a word, he is talented because he is spread ‘through’ colors, impressions, pictures, experiences. This position of the Moon deals with reality in a hard way, for the reality hurts him, and every problem you have hurts him. If you are, God forbid, sick, the Moon in Pisces will take care of you more than you take care of yourself, so he could be calling you twenty times a day, or sending you a message secretly, just so that you know that he is there for you. If you have a problem, he will listen to you as long as you need it. That’s because, he stands for a necessary support.
The Moon in Pisces is creative; he is a dreamer who spends a great part of his life in “his world”. The Moon in Pisces really dreams and then gets tired of his dreams. This Moon is the ruler of every fairytale; he is the happy end in each of them, but just in a dream.
The Moon in Pisces is “she who is” in color, necklaces, under powder, make-up, tattoos and she dances with the subtle rhythm of the blues of the Far East. She can’t do without music, not even in the dream.
The Moon in Pisces, whatever his position is, is with his mind hidden in the vastness of Siberia or the holy river Gang, or on any holy land. The Moon in Pisces fantasizes about Portugal or a house near the ocean; if not ocean, then at least the sea.
